Everything you need to know about the latest Windows 10 updates

Windows is automatically updating their Windows 10 software.
If you are using ConnectME, this may affect your ability to access your computer remotely from within your business or at home.
Please read these FAQs and follow the instructions provided to ensure your Shortcuts system continues to function as usual.
How do I know if I'm going to get upgraded?
If you're using Windows 10, your software will be updated at some point over the next few months. This will happen as part of your standard regular Windows updates process.
Can I stop the upgrade from happening?
No, you can not stop the upgrade from happening. You can, however, delay it for approximately one month if you need to.
Will this update affect my Shortcuts system?
If you are using Windows 10 Professional in your business, your Shortcuts system will not be affected.
If you are using Windows 10 Home in your business, you will no longer be able to use ConnectME to access you computer remotely from home.
I'm using Windows 10 Home. What should I do?
We recommend you upgrade to Windows 10 Professional as soon as possible to ensure ConnectME continues to work.
You can do this by following these instructions from Microsoft.
