SHORTCUTS LIVE


Support

  • We have improved our ability to resolve any issues you encounter by making changes to the process we use to log details of tasks. 
  • We have added the following videos to the help menu:
    • Setting up a supplier
    • Adding product categories and sub-categories
    • Adding a brand, line and product
    • Adding a service with sub-services
    • Adding service categories and services
    • Importing client data.

General

  • You can now choose which screen opens first, when you open Shortcuts Live. This is now based on the first favourite you have added to your favourites bar.

  • The “Home” button has been replaced by a “Menu” button.

  • We have improved the customer search functionality, so that if you pause while entering a customer name, the search results will reflect all the text you have entered.
  • We have resolved an issue ensuring that favourites are not added automatically when you create a new role unless they have been specified.


Receipts

  • You can now choose a default receipt size – either A4 or docket size.

  • You can now add QR codes to custom receipts.
  • If you have “Print” and “Email” set to “Yes” in your receipt configuration settings, you will now see a “Print & email” option when you are checking out a client.

  • We have resolved an issue to ensure you can print and email receipts for past transactions, based on your receipt configuration settings.


Appointment Book

  • You can create an appointment by clicking on the time on the side of the Appointment Book when you are in day view.
  • We have improved the performance of the Appointment Book so it will load faster and will work with fewer interruptions.
  • You can now end a sale quickly without having to confirm the payment amount or choose a payment type, if you do not have any payment types set up.
  • We have resolved the following issues:
    • You can click the “Done” button when you are making an appointment.
    • The Appointment Book can be printed when rosters are used.
    • You can set the Appointment Book as a favourite, even if you only have permission to access your own Appointment Book column.
    • You can quickly move an appointment from one employee to another, without the appointment moving back to its original position.
    • Having an employee with a non-payable roster does not prevent appointments from being made with other employees on that day.
    • Employees who are not rostered on do not appear in the Appointment Book when an employee with a non-bookable roster is rostered on.
    • If you only have permission to access your own Appointment Book column, and you are not rostered on, on a particular day, your Appointment Book column will be shown as “Off”.
    • Services with an “Unspecified” category will appear when you are making a booking or editing a service.
    • The email receipt option will not appear when you are completing a walk-in sale if you are not using this feature.
    • When you are prompted to enter a client’s email address and choose “No”, you will not be shown an error message.
    • If you have more than 25 service categories, you can scroll down to see the entire list.
    • The Appointment Book will always work when moving between days, or moving to week view.
    • The roster information displayed on each appointment column is now readable when you are moving the Appointment Book around.
    • If an appointment conflicts with another appointment, it will be displayed as being conflicting across all terminals.
    • Appointments will no longer flicker every time the sidebar is closed.

Security

  • You can now give an employee access to view all reports, or no reports, by clicking the "I can view all reports" toggle.

  • We have added new permission settings to ensure employees have the relevant access to team KPIs as follows:

    KPI Security

  • KPI permissions will be set to “Yes” for all employees.
  • KPI permissions will be linked to the existing Appointment Book permissions:
    • If you change “I can view my appointments” to “No”, “I can view my KPIs” will be set to “No”.
    • If you change “I can view the appointments of other users” to “No”, “I can view the KPIs of other users” will be set to “No”.
  • We have added new permission settings to ensure employees have the relevant access to Shortcuts Live outside of their rostered hours. The new settings are: "I can access this site with view permissions outside my scheduled hours" and "I can access this site with my normal permissions outside my scheduled hours". By default, “I can access this site with my normal permissions outside my scheduled hours” will be set to “Yes” for all employees.

  • We have improved the way permissions work with each other, so that when one permission setting is changed, any other relevant and related permission settings will also be updated.
  • We resolved an issue that was changing the position of the "New" and "Favourites" buttons on the Roles screen.


Custom Fields

  • We have resolved the following issues:
    • An error message will no longer appear when numbers were correctly entered into a custom field.
    • Multiple custom fields will not be created when the “Done” button is clicked.


Business Setup

  • We have resolved an issue where the delete icon was showing instead of the edit icon on the mylocalsalon field.

Customer Setup

  • If you are in the US or Canada, you will now see “C” rather than “M” displayed next to the cell phone number.


Appointment History

  • Past appointments are now automatically displayed oldest to newest.
  • Future appointments are now automatically displayed newest to oldest.
  • We have resolved the following issues:
    • We have resolved an issue to ensure that if an appointment is cancelled and replaced with a new appointment with the same date, time and service, both appointments will be displayed correctly.
    • We have resolved an issue to ensure that if you have cancelled appointments, and have no future appointments, this will be displayed correctly in your appointment history.


Client Search

  • We have improved the performance of the client search functionality across Shortcuts Live. Search results are now sorted according to the search criteria you have entered:
    • If you search for a client based on their phone number or email address, the closest phone number or email address will be displayed first.
    • If you are searching by name, the results will be shown with the last name first, or the first name first, depending on your Appointment Book settings.
    • If you are searching for someone's full name, and have your Appointment Book set up to display names as Firstname Lastname, you will need to enter the entire first name - for example, entering "Jo Smi" will not find "John Smith", but entering "John Sm" will.
    • If you are searching for someone's full name, and have your Appointment Book set up to display names as Lastname Firstname, you will need to enter the entire last name - for example, entering "Smi Jo" will not find "John Smith", but entering "Smith Jo" will.


S.M.A.R.T. SYSTEM


Online Booking

  • We have resolved the following issues:
    • Clients are required to enter a name, with no numbers, when registering for or editing their details in Online Booking.
    • The “School” theme can be selected on the Company Settings screen.
    • The “Earliest booking allowed” setting works correctly if it is set to “Hours”.

mylocalsalon

  • We have resolved an issue to ensure all new clients can make a booking through mylocalsalon.
  • You can now add the following product brand logos to your mylocalsalon profile: minetan, ECOTAN, Olaplex, Eternal Cosmeceuticals, EyEnvy, Eyeslices, RA Cosmetics, SoapRocks Australia, Bearded Chap, Curtis Collection, Evo – Fabuloso, Mr Smith, Skin Juice, Trichovedic, Oribe, R+Co, Layrite, DNA Organics, Balmain, Bite, Cocolux, CPR, Arbonne, Urban Tribe, Kitoko, ID Hair, Vu Tan, ParaLuxe, Bella Lashes.


Ratings and Reviews

  • We have resolved an issue to ensure that your guests can share their feedback on Facebook after they have completed a rating or review. 


S.M.A.R.T. System Console

  • We have resolved an issue to ensure that when you update user profile information on the Manage Users screen, it will be saved.


Set & Forget Marketing

  • We have made some improvements to the stability and performance of Set & Forget Marketing.
  • We have made an improvement to the way you apply styles in your Drag 'n' Drop editor. You can now choose whether to apply styles to all areas or just specific elements.

  • We have improved the user friendliness of the Drag ‘n’ Drop email editor by increasing the canvas size.
