Latest S.M.A.R.T. System improvements

On Monday 17 November, you may experience a short outage while we make some updates to your S.M.A.R.T. System.

The scheduled outage times are: 8am Qld, NSW, Vic, Tas; 8:30am SA; 7:30am NT; 6am WA; 10am NZ.

If you have any questions, please call us on 1300 667 374.


  • You can now make, reschedule and cancel bookings using Anywhere.


  • When you enter client details in BookME, the client's first and last names will now automatically be capitalised.


  • We have added the following product brands to mylocalsalon, so that you can display them on your business profile page: Soul Tan, Skin Inject, MUK, Creative Nails Design, Prolash, Lash Republic, Eleven Australia, Olivia Garden, Dechabre.

Online CICs

  • Whenever you create a new client using Online CICs, they will now appear automatically in Point of Sale.


  • When you run the New Membership Signups report, you will now always be able to see the the program name.

Hi Brooke, it would be great if you could make it easier for the owner to see all the days appointments in the same screen shot. It is so time consuming having to go into each of the staff memebers daily schedule individually. thank you in anticipation!

Can this possibly include making the 'ALERT' icon in clients' appointment page be more visible, like making it a bright RED instead of a pale brown colour. Have asked this over the phone a few times and emailed in response to Feedback follow-ups but never got a reply in regards to this. We have quite a number consistent 'No Show' clients that we need to be alerted about but usually missed because of this issue. Is someone able to address this or hopefully reply to this? I have been using Shortcuts now for over 20 years and love the system. Is there a possibility that you can find a way for us to be able to scan our client information form into the Shortcuts client information so we are not having to physically enter all of the details. As we are a skin and medical clinic all of this information is absolutely necessary each client visit. Thank you for your assistance. Kind Regards Sue Carroll
