As General Manager, I am particularly interested in new ideas and initiatives that will help diversify our business and grow the togninis brand. When I see an opportunity, I like to grab it as quickly as possible.

BookME was designed with business growth in mind, and when it was released I thought we would be crazy not to give it a go. We had been using Shortcuts for years, and I wanted to make the most of every opportunity this technology had to offer.

In this age of instant gratification, consumers expect to be able to purchase everything they want – clothes, groceries, movie tickets, a haircut – at the click of a button.

Being able to meet this expectation is absolutely critical. Over the coming years, businesses will need to ensure they can provide this constant service, just to survive in the digital age.

Rolling out BookME was remarkably easy. We gave our staff a basic heads-up, encouraged them to talk to clients about how to book online, and promoted it across social media, our eNewsletter, website and other channels.

Our clients have been incredibly receptive to the idea, as it makes their lives just that little bit easier. Rather than having to take time out from their busy day to call us, they can now quickly book at time that suits them.

Since we started using online booking, I’ve sat back and watched the results go up and up at a very steady pace. It has ramped up our business as a whole, and has definitely correlated with overall business growth.

We are now setting the industry standard, and our revenue from online bookings is an enormous 708% above the Australian average.

To me, this is the perfect example of how important it is to make the most of every opportunity that comes your way. The successes you can achieve by seeking out new ways of working are quite phenomenal.
