Quick wins for your marketing campaigns

Quick wins for your marketing campaigns

Ever feel like your marketing is all effort, no reward? Do you spend hours dreaming up the perfect promo, only to discover that it falls completely flat with your clients? Don’t despair, we have some quick wins that will improve your results in no time at all!

Create consistency

Think about who you are, what you stand for, and make sure you shout it out loud and proud across as many different channels as you can. Consistent wording and imagery will help you strengthen your brand and get your message out. The more your clients hear what you have to say, the more likely they are to engage with you.

That’s not to say you should bombard your clients with email marketing every day of the week – far from it. But if you are running a promo or have an event coming up, think about letting your clients know via email, social media, in-salon posters and flyers, and even good old-fashioned snail mail – and use the same words and pictures to trigger their memory and encourage a reaction.

Be social

Social media isn’t going anywhere, so if you don’t already have a strong presence on Facebook, Instagram or both, what are you waiting for? It really is the perfect way to show off your amazing work, build a community, and generate some real buzz around your brand.

The good news is, social media doesn’t have to be a lot of hard work. There are some amazing tools available to help you create beautiful images, schedule them ahead of time, and get your message out with minimal effort. You can even use social media to drive online bookings by adding a button to your Facebook page!

Share feedback

It’s one thing to tell your clients how great you are – and another completely to prove it! You might not realise just how easy it is to gather instant feedback from your clients and share your best reviews online. Tools like Spotlight make the client feedback process completely automatic – and let you pick and choose which reviews you’d like to brag about, and which you’d rather keep hush-hush.

If you like, you could go one step further and include quotes or testimonials on your website and your marketing collateral.

Encourage action

This one is easy to overlook, but it will make all the difference to your campaigns. Once you have your clients’ attention – via email, social media or a brochure – you’ll need to give them a gentle nudge in the right direction of what they should do next.

Some great examples are adding a “book now” button to your email campaigns, or a “call us to make your next appointment” message on your Facebook posts, or a “visit our website” link on your Instagram profile.A little call to action goes a long way!

Measure everything

Rather than just sending your marketing out into the wild and hoping for the best, why not get a firm grip on what’s happening and how it’s benefiting you and your business? Most forms of digital marketing make this relatively straightforward – such as Facebook insights or your Set & Forget Marketing reports and statistics.

Shortcuts also gives you ways to comprehensively track the success of your marketing promotions. For example, if you have sent out a gift voucher via email to entice clients back for a second visit, it’s easy to see how many emails were sent and compare this with how many vouchers were redeemed. This gives you a comprehensive understanding of the return on investment for your marketing efforts.
