Brooke’s top five Fusion features

There’s been a certain buzz about the Shortcuts office this week – and it’s not just the thrill of being back at work after the festive season that has the team excited.
The release of Shortcuts Fusion is gaining momentum, as more and more businesses take advantage of the amazing features this new version has to offer.
We took some time out to chat with Brooke, our Evolution Specialist, and discovered what the hype is all about. Brooke shared with us her favourite new features, which are only available with Shortcuts Fusion.
1. Client dashboard
“Front desk staff are going to love the all-new client dashboard. This was created so that you can see everything you need to know about a client all on one screen. From past and future appointments, to alert notes, to no-shows and cancellations, the client dashboard helps streamline the entire booking process.”
“We’ve made a big change to Anywhere; you can now make, reschedule and cancel appointments using this S.M.A.R.T. System feature. Anywhere gives you mobile access to your appointment book, from the convenience of your smart phone, tablet or home PC. It’s something a lot of business owners love, because it gives them the flexibility to work on the go.”
3. Upfront payments
“This one is huge. You can now choose to take either full or partial payments upfront as part of the online booking process. This helps prevent no-shows, as clients are more likely to turn up for their appointment if they have already paid, and secures cash flow ahead of time.”
“The surcharges feature is already getting a great response from businesses. You can now automatically add surcharges on weekends and public holidays, and also to specific payment types such as Amex. You don’t have to get the calculator out anymore – Shortcuts does the maths for you.”
5. Arrivals screen
“Especially good for businesses with lots of employees, this new screen makes managing arrivals a breeze. It displays a list of all the clients who should be arriving shortly, and lets you quickly check them in as they arrive. This saves you from having to scroll through all your employees and find each appointment in your appointment book.”
